Ishneet obtained her BSc (Hons.) and MSc (Hons.) degrees from Panjab University, Chandigarh. She’s a university Gold Medalist. She completed her MSc. project under the supervision of Prof. Ganga Ram Chaudhry on the topic entitled Functionalized nanomaterials for water remediation utilizing green chemical aspects. She moved to Canada (Jan 2023) to pursue her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Audrey Moores. She will explore self-assemblies, films and fibres of cellulose, chitin and chitosan and prospect their applications.
In her free time she does calligraphy or goes swimming.
